The individual will be part of a team of Call

The individual will be part of a team of Call Centre Agents that offer insurance products to customers. Candidates eligible for this vacancy should satisfy the relevant ‘fit and proper’ requirements of the applicable Acts and the FSCA requirements (a condition of employment). The appointed candidate will be registered with the FSCA. The objective is to impact direct insurance sales in the Insurance Call Centre via efficient offering of insurance products to prospective customers, to achieve targeted growth targets.Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: <ul><li>Outbound insurance sales calls to prospective customers strictly according to the insurance script</li><li>Offering insurance products to leads/referrals telephonically using a Script,</li><li>Ensure fair treatment of customers, central to our culture and identify opportunities to improve product and service offerings, ensuring effective and professional service delivery,</li><li>Proactively contribute to the customer experience, campaign performance and drive targets,</li><li>Achieve own sales targets and objectives,</li><li>Be a productive team player, who is efficient, works structured and focused,</li><li>Adherence to Quality and Compliance processes/benchmarks to minimize business/conduct risk,</li><li>Adapt and change to fit in with changing business operational requirements,</li><li>To act professionally to ensure the interests of both the customer and Lewis are protected,</li><li>Accurately record and maintain information regarding products sold, follow product/system procedures,</li><li>Keep abreast of developments and trends in the financial services industry - self-learning,</li><li>Fit and Proper on appointment and thereafter and ensuring compliance with FAIS Act and Policyholder protection rules/requirements,</li><li>Commitment to learning, training, product knowledge, and call Centre operation/system requirements,</li><li>Other relevant company, call centre agent, and FAIS representative duties</li></ul> Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):<ul><li>Inbound & outbound insurance telephonic sales,</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of applicable Acts and Regulations,</li><li>Insurance product knowledge,</li><li>Insurance sales & financial services,</li><li>Sales and interpersonal skills,</li><li>Language & reading skills, fluent in English,</li><li>Other language skills - Sotho, Setswana, Sepedi, Xhosa, Zulu & Afrikaans</li><li>Computer Literate in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and good typing skills</li><li>Good organizational and effective communication skills</li><li>Work under pressure and in a deadline / target-orientated environment,</li><li>Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills,</li><li>Highly productive team player, who is efficient, works structured and focused,</li><li>Fit and proper and integrity.</li></ul> Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 6 months experience within an Insurance Sales Outbound Call Centre,</li><li>Insurance / Financial Services sales experience,</li><li>Life & Non-Life insurance experience,</li><li>Proven track record achieving sales targets and efficiencies,</li></ul> Prerequisite:<ul><li>Minimum Grade 12 or a relevant NQF 4 qualification required,</li><li>Recognized Sales / Marketing / Insurance Diploma/Degree preferred,</li><li>FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE). RE5 for Representatives -preferred</li><li>FAIS Fit and Proper on appointment (not debarred previously by an FSP) (a condition of employment)</li></ul>
